Welcome to The Goodinge Group Practice
Help us improving our services
We are keen to hear our patients views and learn about their experiences of the Practice so we can work to improve the way we meet all our patients' health needs going forward. We would be grateful if you could complete a short survey on
which we hope will only take up a few minutes of your time.
Thanks very much!
Dr. Craig Seymour will be leaving the practice on the 28th of June. We are extremelly grateful for his services during the last years and wish him all the best on his future endeavours.
He kindly wrote the following message to patients:
Dear Patients of the Goodinge
It is with sadness that I confirm that I shall be leaving the Goodinge on 30th of August 2019. It has been my privilege to get to know many of you and support you in whatever way I have been able to.
From July 2019, General Practices in England have been asked to come together as Primary Care Networks, each of which requires a Clinical Director. The practices of North Islington, of which the Goodinge is one, have come together as a Primary Care Network and I have been appointed as our Clinical Director. Given the time requirements of both roles, I am unable to run both jobs in parallel, and as such I need to move on.
I hope to be able to improve the local health systems through my new role, encouraging them to be more joined up and be more effective for everyone, both patients and staff. I shall remain an Islington GP for much of the week, so you may well see me around. Please say hi if you do.
My registered list will transfer to our new recruit, Dr Barratt-Smith, who starts at the beginning of September. I have no doubt that you will make him feel as welcome as you have done with me over the 4 years. As always though, you are welcome to book appointments with any doctor you wish.
With very best wishes to you all,
Dr Craig Seymour
Responding to feedback from our patients, we have been working on our system in order to better provide appointments. The response to these changes have been positive so far but we would like to take it even further. We are getting help from a specialised company to analise our current system and hopefully improve it even more.
