Cool Spaces is an initiative by Islington Council that provides free, accessible places where residents can stay cool and comfortable during hot weather. These spaces include libraries, community centres, faith venues, and other public locations offering seating, drinking water, toilets, and, in some cases, air conditioning. The programme helps protect residents, particularly those most vulnerable to heat, by providing safe environments during periods of high temperatures.
